Syslog - SElinux

CentOS 4.3 and 4.1.

I’ve found myself with no logs, the /var/log/message was empty.

The snmpd deamon was giving me “permission denied”. What was I to do?

Just Stop the selinux enforcing.

 ”echo 0 > /selinux/enforce

or

Edit the  “/etc/selinux/config” and change to  “SELINUX=disabled” and “reboot?”
